A jewel of a Poe painting set into an ornate Victorian era original frame. The frame is 15 inches tall by 13 1/2 inches wide. It is lavishly decorated with ornamental mat and burgundy velvet.

The oil painting measures 5.25” tall x 3.5” wide, and radiates energy from the center of the piece. A raven hovers over Poe’s head, as the great poet contemplates the onlooker, wow his fiery passion consumes him.

A rare find indeed, painted by award-winning Poe artist, June Ponte. Ponte received an award for her Poe art from the Poe Baltimore Museum.
