A print of my original oil painting of the fadista, Amalia Rodrigues of Portugal. She reached the height of her fame Through the 1950s and 60s, but was known before and after that era, worldwide.
Fado is a melancholic and beautiful Portuguese song accompanied by mandolins or guitars, And the beautiful Amalia is still known as the queen of the fado.
The print measures 8" x 10", and comes to you in a sturdy 11" x 14" black mat.
